Hi everyone,
I hope that you are all still keeping well.
This week's learning grid includes news of strange goings-on at school...an activity linked to internet safety and information on how to earn yourself six Blue Peter badges!
As mentioned last week, I have included a collage of some of the work the children in our class have been completing at home, plus some of the arts and crafts activities that we have done over the past couple of weeks in bubble 3. I hope you enjoy seeing what some of the other children have been up to and a big thank you once again for all the work that I receive from the children at home.
Today is the launch of the Sumdog national contest! So please make sure that you login and participate :)
Finally, a big thank you to 'goblin' and 'cheesey' for having a go at last week's maths Kahoot! challenge!
Take care,
Miss Dodds x

Hello everyone!
Next week's grid has 4 new activities/challenges so make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of the weekly grid.
As usual, the learning grid is designed to support the BBC Bitesize learning but can also be used independently to this.
I have entered our class into a national Sumdog maths contest where there are lots of coins and outfits for your avatar to be won! This starts on the 3rd of July but be sure to get in plenty of practice before then!
Finally, thank-you for all of the work that you have sent in. It makes me very happy seeing both the work you have done linked to the grid along with your own work that the adults at home have provided.
Take care,
Miss Dodds x

Hello everyone!
Wow - how different the weather has been this past week! I hope that you are all well and that you have been able to use this time to take part in some fun indoor activities.
A HUGE thank-you for all of the work that you keep sending in. I absolutely loved seeing some of your World Ocean Day upcycled projects, I was truly wowed by your creative efforts.
Next week's grid has plenty of fun challenges and activities to have a go at. Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the grid (page 4) as there are four new online activities which I think you all will love. For your reading over the next few weeks, I would like you to sign up to the Silly Squad reading challenge! (Sign up link is on page 1 of the grid). Make sure to check with an adult when signing up. Parents/guardians - this is part of a national strategy which runs every year through local council and is perfectly safe to sign up to :)
And finally, if you haven't already, login to your Sumdog account as there may be a surprise waiting!
Take care,
Miss Dodds x

Hello everybody,

Hope you are all well. I have been coming to school every week and am enjoying bitesize lessons. I have seen Miss Dodds and Miss Wiles and some of the children who have been coming to school. We have been doing lots of arty things as well as our lessons.

Outside school I have been doing lots of reading and dog walking. My daughter has been doing lots of baking so I have had lots of yummy treats!

More people are in school now so it is a bit more like it used to be. I miss seeing you all and I look forward to the day we can all be back together.

Love Mrs Wells

Hello everyone!
I hope that you are all well and that you are continuing to enjoy the weekly grids and BBC Bitesize work.
Next week's grid has plenty of fun challenges and worksheets to get stuck in to - did you know that on Monday it is World Oceans Day? I would love to see how creative you can get at home using materials that may otherwise end up being put in the recycling. Please make sure you email across photographs of any work along with any pieces of completed work via email.
I thought I would also share Harry's Youtube page below for some fun at home workouts that include flexibility and strength challenges (Harry delivers our gymnastics sessions in school as part of our PE curriculum).
Take care,
Miss Dodds x

Hello everyone!

I hope that you are all well and that you enjoyed your half term.

As a reminder, the weekly grid is designed to supplement the daily learning sessions on BBC bitesize. I have tried to include as much information as possible and optional worksheets on the grid so that it can also be used independently to BBC, however in some subjects I have made reference to the learning material from the bitesize website.

Remember, I love to see your work and how you are getting creative with your learning at home so please continue to update me via the school email!

Take care,

Miss Dodds x
