Welcome to Hertford Vale C.E Primary School
Compassion Friendship Thankfulness Fellowship
At Hertford Vale C.E Primary School we work together in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider community to make our school a special place to be. Everyone works to create a welcoming, stimulating and purposeful environment, which aims to foster each child as an individual through providing a broad and balanced curriculum in preparation for an appreciation of life in modern Britain. Hertford Vale is a place where every person has a right to be themselves and to belong and learn in a safe and happy environment. Everyone at our school is equal and treats each other with respect and kindness. We pride ourselves on developing positive relationships which puts the whole child at the centre of everything we do.
We hope you find this website useful and enjoy finding out more about our school.

- World Book Day03Mar2020
Today we are holding our World Book Day. The children who go to East Barnby will not be here on the official day on the 6th March so we are holding ours on Tuesday to allow all children to take part. Each class will be looking at a chosen book on the day and will base activities on this during the week. If your child would like to dress up as a favourite book character on the day they are more than welcome but there is no obligation to do so. Parents are welcome to come into school from 9:00am to 10:00am to share books with their children and to enjoy time reading. The children will then take part in activities throughout the day and will be given a £1 book token that can be exchanged for a book in stores such as Waterstones, WHSmiths and certain supermarkets. A letter with information on is on the school website and look forward to seeing you on the day.
