On Friday 21st October, we are inviting the children to wear their own clothes for the day in exchange for a small chocolate donation, which will be used for a Chocolate Tombola Stall at our upcoming Christmas Fair.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated. We have run this type of fundraising in previous years and the amount of chocolate received was phenomenal. Every bar, bag of buttons and box of chocolates goes towards raising further funds for school. Thank you in advance for your support.

Below is a letter from the Friends of Hertford Vale School with the total monies raised for the children. The FOHVS do such an amazing job of supporting the school and we would like to thank them for their hard work in raising money to benefit all the children at Hertford Vale.
It is nice to be able to send out some positive news and to focus on the possibilities of future events in school.

Below are a few photographs from the Friends of Hertford Vale School Christmas stalls. All the children in school won at least two prizes and as you can see, they were very happy indeed.

Hot Chocolate Reindeer Cones and Chocolate Sleighs

Although we are unable to hold a Christmas fair, we have decided to continue with some of the fair activities and sell Hot Chocolate Reindeer Cones and Chocolate Sleighs.

These are available to pre-order only and will be on a first come first served basis, as we are limited on how many we can make. All proceeds going to FOHVS to fund school trips and resources for school.

Photos of the cones and sleighs will be sent out on school jotter to reduce printing costs.

Hot chocolate cones contain enough for 2 drinks as minimum.

Chocolate sleighs – the variety of chocolate may vary but number of items will remain the same.

To order please return this form AND payment by Friday 3^rd December. Your orders will be available to collect from school or a FOHVS committee member from Thursday 9^th December.

The Friends of Hertford Vale School would like to thank everyone for supporting the Crazy Hair Day today. The money has yet to be counted and we will let you know the total in due course.

If you would like to help the Friends of Hertford Vale in the future, they are holding their Annual General Meeting on Monday 1st November, 7pm at Staxton Village Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend and help support the Friends in raising money for the school.
